Welcome to Physical Education 11/12
As the fitness trainer for this unit you need to examine what is required to excel in this specific activity in terms of cardiovascular, muscle strength vs endurance, or any other fitness component. Be sure you aren't only providing a warm-up but a way to improve your teams fitness.
Ex. Ice hockey - anaerobic fitness, short bursts of speed, lots of lateral movements.
An exercises program could be interval sprints with 1 minute rest period between sprints with lateral lunges.
PE 11/12 is a class offered to individuals who want to continue to play sports/activities and develop their skills further. There are fitness components in the class such as timed community runs, beep tests and the occasional work out in the weight room.
There are no set units in PE 11/12 because I tailor the class to what the students rank at the start of the year.

If the class decides to go on field trips students are responsible for the costs of the field trips.
